Meet Our Therapist!
Michele Howard is a Marriage and Family Therapist intern from the nationally accredited program at Liberty University. Michele is a mother of three and a pastors wife. She was born in New York and moved to Raleigh as a young girl. Michele has a soft spot in her heart for children of divorce and families in crisis. She graduated from Broughton High School in Raleigh and went on to receive her bachelors degree in elementary education from Appalachian State University. Her love of children inspired her to get a masters degree in Christian Education. Michele has taught kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Michele currently has a 20 year old son, a 19 year old daughter, and a 16 year old son. Having successfully raised two young adults while currently raising a 3rd, Michele understands the intricacies of parenting in the 21st century. Michele uses attachment theory and Gottman method to help couples communicate more effectively and find deeper levels of connection.
Michele is a lover of British television, and reading. In her spare time Michele enjoys camping in her pop-up camper with her family.
